World’s oldest female gorilla turns 69 at Berlin Zoo

Berlin, Apr 13 (EFE).- Fatou, the world’s oldest female gorilla, is celebrating her 69th birthday on Monday at the Berlin Zoo. In the wild, gorillas live to a maximum of 35 years, while in captivity they can often live up to half a century, making Fatou an exceptional case of longevity within her species.
