Lisbon, Apr 17 (EFE).– Thousands of people marched through the streets of Lisbon this Friday against a labor reform promoted by Portugal’s center-right government, currently stalled in negotiations with unions and employers.Camera: Blas Díaz.Footage of the protest in Lisbon.Statements – Ana Luisa (young teacher and protester, in Portuguese):“The labor reform will make life much more difficult for young workers, for workers in general, but especially for those like us who are trying to secure housing, stable employment, or even start a family. It becomes impossible with the housing crisis and now this reform, which is a direct attack on workers’ lives, with harsh measures such as allowing young workers to spend their entire lives on temporary contracts without ever achieving job stability.”
