Queues form at Colombian Consulate after Spain approves migrant regularisation plan

Madrid, Apr 15 (EFE).- The Colombian Consulate in Madrid has recently seen an influx of citizens seeking to gather the documentation required by the government following Tuesday’s approval of the Royal Decree on the extraordinary regularization of migrants.

The new regulation requires, among other things, proof of continuous residence in Spain for five months before the application and a clean criminal record.
