Paris, Apr 18 (EFE).- The Louvre Museum is hosting two special evening events this weekend beneath its iconic Pyramid as part of the “Living Bodies” exhibition, an unusual “dialogue” between sculptures by Michelangelo and Auguste Rodin, which will be brought to life over two nights by seven dancers from the Paris Opera Ballet.“The idea is that the dancers are sculptures that come to life,” Paris Opera Ballet director José Martínez told EFE minutes before the dress rehearsal, explaining his concept of also having pairs of dancers engage in a dialogue through classical pieces. “There is always that interplay between partners, the relationship of one body to another, and how they intertwine and interact with each other,” he said.CAMERA: EDGAR SAPIÑA MANCHADOFOOTAGE OF THE BALLET AT THE LOUVRE MUSEUM ON THE OCCASION OF THE TEMPORARY EXHIBITION ON THE SCULPTURES OF MICHELANGELO AND AUGUSTE RODIN.
