Man arrested after killing his ex-partner in Córdoba

Córdoba, Spain, Apr 13 (EFE).- National Police officers have arrested a man for killing his ex-partner with a machete in Córdoba, two days after he had been arrested for assaulting her, police sources told EFE.

The murder took place on Monday morning in a house located in the Fuensanta neighborhood of Córdoba on the same day that the alleged perpetrator, a 65-year-old Spanish man, and the victim, born in Bolivia and of the same age, were scheduled to appear in court.
