Philippines job fair highlights overseas work demand among OFWs

PASAY, Philippines, Apr 15 (EFE).— Job seekers attended a fair on Monday in Metro Manila offering local and overseas employment opportunities.

Authorities said more than 80% of repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs, Filipinos working abroad) plan to seek jobs overseas again, despite the Middle East conflict.

The government aims to facilitate around 200,000 placements while preparing reintegration programmes with support in finance, health and skills training. (Camera: ROLEX DELA PENA).
