Montpellier Bar Association protest against "SURE" law

Montpellier, France, Apr 13 (EFE/EPA).- Lawyers from the Montpellier Bar Association took part in a protest on Monday called “Justice Dead” in Montpellier, southern France. French bar associations called for a day of protest against the “SURE” bill (an acronym for “Useful, Rapid, and Effective Sanctions”), which would modify the use of plea agreements in criminal cases.
