Mexico film festival honors Chilean directors Larrain and Alberdi

Guadalajara, Mexico, Apr 17 (EFE).- Chilean directors Pablo Larraín and Maite Alberdi were honored on Friday for their careers during the opening of the 41st Guadalajara International Film Festival, which runs in the western Mexican city until April 25.

Larraín, director of films such as “Jackie,” “Spencer” and “Maria,” received the Ibero-American Tribute Award and dedicated it to his brother and producer Juan de Dios Larraín.
