Indian workers protest in Noida, demanding wage increase, security

NOIDA, India, Apr 14 (EFE/EPA).— Thousands of workers protested on Tuesday at an industrial complex in Noida, demanding higher wages and job security.

The demonstration took place at a major hosiery hub (hosiery complex, textile manufacturing area), where protesters gathered near factories and commercial units.

Police were deployed in the area as authorities monitored the situation during the large-scale protest. (Camera: HARISH TYAGI).
