Delcy Rodríguez vows new era of hope after 100 days leading Venezuela

Caracas, Apr 19 (EFE).- Delcy Rodríguez, Venezuela’s acting president, on Sunday promised a “new era of hope” for the country after just over 100 days in office following the Nicolás Maduro’s capture by United States of America forces in January.

“These 100 days are not a point of arrival, they are the beginning of a new stage — a stage to recover hope, to encourage confidence, to reconnect us as Venezuelans and to guarantee the future of our youth,” Rodríguez said in a message broadcast on state channel VTV and shared on social media.
