Sotheby's will auction the “King of Rock” Elvis Presley's cherry-red guitar in New York
A woman closes a display case containing a book to be auctioned, autographed by the American singer Elvis Presley in New York, United States, 15 April 2026. Sotheby's announced that the cherry-red Hagstrom guitar that Elvis Presley played during his 1968 concert which marked his return to the stage after seven years devoted to film will be the highlight of the “Rock & Pop” auction, to be held in New York.
