At least eight people confimed dead after search and rescue operation for missing helicopter
SANGGAU (Indonesia), 17/04/2026.- A handout photo made available by the Indonesian National Search and Rescue Agency (BASARNAS) shows an aerial view of the chash site of a helicopter during a search and rescue operation in Sanggau Regency, West Kalimantan, Indonesia, 16 April 2026 (issued 17 April 2026). According to Basarnas, rescue teams discovered debris of a helicopter that was reported missing with eight people on board.
